The Arrancar saga continues with the latest Bleach episode release this week. We've grown to expect Ichigo to respond as the ever-confident hero whenever he faces a crisis, but when he has a near-fatal run-in with the Arrancars, it's going to take a little help from his friends to snap him out of his resulting depression... check out the episodes in the Bleach section of vizanime.com. 

Episode 114:
Orihime and Chad are in danger and Ichigo rushes to their aid. He immediately uses his Bankai and clashes with the brutish Arrancar, Yammy.

Episode 115:
Rukia, Renji, Ikkaku, Yumichika, Captain Hitsugaya and Rangiku have come to the World of the Living and they have found Ichigo still feeling depressed about his poor performance in the fight against the Arrancars.

Episode 116:
Ulquiorra and Yammy have returned to the Hollow World, Hueco Mundo. They report to Sosuke Aizen and twenty other Arrancars about their fight with Ichigo and his friends. 

Episode 117:
The Arrancar, Grimmjow, has entered the World of the Living and he has brought a group of minions from Hueco Mundo with him. The Arrancars’ goal is to kill anyone who possesses the slightest amount of spiritual pressure.

The Arrancar story arc is in full swing in Bleach manga vol. 30, in stores everywhere today. Ichigo and his friends are moving ever closer to the center of Hueco Mundo and rescuing Orihime. But their battles against the Arrancars are testing them in ways they never thought possible. Can they keep their honor in a world where it doesn't exist, or will Hueco Mundo leave an indelible mark on their souls?!

On a more thematic level, this episode is one of several that seem to play with the question of what makes a person (or demon) strong: weapons, breeding, or heart. Already in Inuyasha The Final Act, the issue of weaponry gets complicated; weapons are closely tied to the characters wielding them. The beginning of the episode shows Inuyasha painfully wrestling with the drawbacks of being half-human. But in this episode, we also see the heart prevail. Of course, we'll need to see more of it if the gang is to survive being inside Naraku. Till next week…

Episode 23: Boy Meets Battle Girl
With only moments until the completion of the white kakugane, which can revert a Victornized being into a human once more, Kazuki is faced with the ultimate choice of whether to use the cure on himself or Victor.

Episode 24: When You Die, I’ll Die with You
Kazuki has decided to use the perfected white kakugane on Victor. By placing himself in suspended animation, Kazuki can put an end to being further Victornized by waiting until another white kakugane can be perfected by Papillon.

Just because you're known as the Prince of Tennis doesn't mean that you can't make mistakes -- it's a good thing that Ryoma's mistakes makes for good entertainment for us this week, as we debut two fresh Prince of Tennis episodes. Maybe there's not a whole lot of tennis in episode 27, but who doesn't love a cute cat? And in episode 28, we get to marvel at the sight of Horio pretending to be part of the Seigaku team!
