Inuyasha - The Final Act Gets Spooky

In episode 9 of Inuyasha - The Final Act, we get to know Sesshomaru through the rendezvous with his cold-yet-beautiful mother and his foray into the Underworld. Viewer Jason Staton commented on Hulu.com that Sessohmaru is the "coolest good bad guy of the year." That's not a bad description, I think.

Warning: if you're prone to scary dreams, you might not want to watch this episode at night. There was a lot of underworldly and macabre imagery. Sesshomaru's transformation (3 minutes:20 seconds into the episode), the Guardian of the Underworld (14:37), and the mountain of corpses (15:10) are all good reasons to invest in a night-light.

Of course, you can count on Jaken's comedy to prevent things from getting too heavy. And looks like mom's not so bad after all (19:45).
