Sasuke and Suigetsu visit the southern hideout to recruit their next member, Karin. Suigetsu is surprised at the hideout’s low security level but is told that no prisoners can escape thanks to Karin’s abilities. What is Karin’s power that allows her to maintain order and an iron defense? To relieve a reluctant Karin from her duty as a “Prison Guard,” Sasuke tells Suigetsu to free all the prisoners. Left alone in the room, Karin stares at Sasuke and remembers her first encounter with him years ago.
